Another of Kath’s fantastic cards today, love this card, I had never thought of the old crock set as a christmas set but when I saw this card I wish I had .Kath has a fantastic way of creating quite simple cards which look really effective.
The background of this card has been created by simply using two backing papers and the snowy effect is completed by using the white flowersoft and the die cut christmas tree.The car has been stamped using black ink onto cream card. The look is completed by adding the ribbon ,bell and a peel off greeting . I will be using the old crock car this year for some of my christmas cards thanks to Kath’s fantastic card.I always say this but have a go at doing christmas with the old crock set .

Love your previous comment! I have been known to be sat on Xmas Eve, at a wonky angle to my hubby, making his Xmas card, trying to hide what I’m doing! I say every year without fail that I am going to be organised next year and start in January, but do I?! Maybe we should make a pact that we’ll try and start them soon and encourage each other on? I think it is so scary that June is here already although I reckon the weather doesn’t realise it is! It has been chucking down nonstop here since first thing and it is now 3.45pm.
On to the card, I love it! I’d never have thought of the old crock car on a xmas card but it works beautifully. I think I’ll join you in using it on my Christmas cards too!

you make me laugh so much I am usually sitting at a wonky angle on christmas eve making cards the odd angle mostly due to the bacardi and coke I have been drinking….. on christmas eve this year I will be giggling to myself thinking of you doing exactly the same thing as me xxxxxxx
I agree with you about the weather I think that’s why I am posting christmas ideas it feels more like christmas than summer lol and we are both on the same page about the old crock I am so gonna be sending cards with that this christmas kath is so clever and such a lovely person .I think u need to nag me and i’ll nag you about starting our christmas cards asap so we can enjoy the run up to christmas instead of stressing……….I am struggling at the moment as I am not feeling to good and having to have tests to see what’s goin on and my husband is in Italy working at the moment .He will be away for at least 6 weeks so I am doing everything alone and struggling to find enough time to get my crafting done I am so tierd I can’t do my late night sessions as I am falling asleep lol .Maybe when he gets back I will be able to get back to some serious crafting ……I am running out of cards to put on the blog so I need to make a day and sit down and get on with it or you will all be on my case as there will be nothing new to see lol. By the way butterfly kisses are in next months papercrafts essentials due out on the 5th july which is a bit strange for all off us to see our cards in print, I haven’t seen the layout yet so I hope it looks good can’t wait to see it. anyway guess I better go and try and do a bit before I fall asleep again lol take care sweetie love and hugs lou xxxxxx .
